Do you provide estimates?

When you proceed with booking a repair, and we confirm the booking, there is a 1 hour flat rate charge for service time required to diagnose and assess the device. All quotes are subject to this 1 hour flat service fee. If based on the repairs needed additional time is required, a detailed quote will be sent to you BEFORE proceeding with full repair. All estimates are a ball-park costs based on the information we receive about your device. It can be more or less depending on the damage and subject to certified parts being available.

We do not just plug in off market parts. We only use certified parts so we are able to stand by our 60 day service warranty.

Do you repair hard drives and USB drives?

Yes, we are currently accepting hard drives and USB drives repairs. Please keep in mind that there is a 50/50 chance of successful repair. Estimated cost to fix these devices ranges from $100 and up.

If my personal data on my Desktop, Laptop, Notebook and Drives is secure while it is with you?

A short answer is YES. We will sometimes ask clients for personal information such as name, e-mail address, or phone number. Providing us your information will simply help us locate your account, provide technical support, and answer your questions. SOS IT Repairs will take all appropriate steps to keep your personal information confidential. Those steps include limiting access to client information databases, communicating this policy statement to all SOS IT Repairs employees establishing and enforcing penalties for violation of this statement. We do not sell, exchange, or give away personal information to other companies. For your convenience and added security, all information submitted thru our contact us are encrypted and sent to us via 128bit SSL secured socket layer.

Does SOS IT Repairs store customer’s credit card information?

We do not see or store credit card information. We use a third-party payment processor that specialize in credit card security.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Cash, VISA, Master Card and debit cards. We are a cashless business. Online payments only.

Do you provide any warranty for your services?

At SOS IT Repair, we believe in the quality of our repairs and stand behind our work. That's why we offer a 60-day warranty from the day you pick up your repaired device. We are confident that we have provided you with the highest quality repair, and we want you to have the peace of mind that comes with a comprehensive warranty. If you have any questions about our warranty or need to schedule a repair, please don't hesitate to contact us. Since we use only OEM Quality components, we are confident of our repairs therefore, we offer a 60 days warranty, provided that same component has failed. We will re diagnose and attempt to fix at no charge.

How long does it takes to repair my device?

Normally our turn around time is 5-7 business days. However, in some cases when a special part is required to complete a repair or upgrade your device it may take longer. This is subject to availability out of our control. We will inform you about it by email to get your approval BEFORE we go ahead with ordering parts to complete the repairs or upgrade. Once you confirm the quote you agree to the full quote for repair.
